Excellent service; very patient and helpful. No or few items like teriyaki.

Had the omakase and it was delicious

Absolutely extraordinary. Some of the best, most exquisite sushi I have ever had. Toshi San and his team have established a place that is worth traveling to for its food. All seven of us were in awe at the flavors, texture, presentation and incredible quality of every single dish order, regardless of it was part of the omakase offering or out of the main menu. In the picture below, an ankimo hand roll.

This place is nothing short of amazing. Not cheap but the food is easily worth it!

This restaurant is my favored. I go to plenty of restaurants but here I go the most. The crew is very receptive and the food they cook is so tasty. I never decline to have a good dinner here. I highly recommend this place.

Spent over 100$ there for them to not get the order correct and when we called and talked to them about. Having some of our rolls remade the guy said we had the wrong place. I will never order here again and the rolls look nasty and old. Never a gain

I never thought I would be a sushi person, I'm a picky eater and often don't like fish. I came here the other night with a party of 5 and I was truly blown away. From service to food, it was a great experience. The tuna roll and crunch roll were some of the most amazing dishes I've ever eaten! I wasnt surprised at all seeing the Michelin sticker as I walked out the door.

This spot is my preferred one. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this place I go the most. The stuff is very chummy and the cuisine they cook is so appetizing. I am always happy to have a nice dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Wonderful attentive service and the best sushi I ever tasted. The staff at Masa's are very friendly and excel in hospitality. Cute sushi restaurant in downtown Novato. I enjoyed Masa's one night and had to come back again for the incredible sushi. I highly recommend trying Masa's sushi and if dining some sit at the bar. The chefs definitely know what they are doing and fascinating to watch.

I LOVED my lunch bento box! My children also enjoyed the miso soup & chicken dish a lot! Overall the staff were really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is welcoming, the price was reasonable. I highly recommended this little gem in the town.

Good food but a bit too pricey

I've been coming here for almost all my life it's the best sushi ever. We no Masa and his family and they are really nice wish I could give it a million stars. So sad that it's closing in a few day and don't think I'll be able to find a new sushi place to eat at that's as could as this.

I visit this special place from time to time since I like the good air that is exist in this restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly and experienced. The service is extraordinarily quick. Also, the food you eat is good. I came many times and I was always happy. The pay is decent. I highly suggest this place to to all.

We had take out, which for sushi is always going to be an inferior version of that restaurant food. That Masa's sushi was as good as it was, some of the best I've ever eaten, when eaten thirty minutes after it's made is testament to the quality here. Superb, will be back.

What can I say......just wonderful ..everything

Not good. They served sashimi by cooking it and they used brown rice for the nigiri. Overpriced low quality.

So this place is expensive. As are most sushi restaurants, but I went here thinking it was just to run of the mill place, and not realizing it was michelin recommended. it was packed but there were two seats at the sushi bar and so my toddler and I had a wonderful meal and the fact that the hostess was lovely enough to seat us despite the chaos around her was wonderful. I sat at the sushi bar and made friends with the people around me who were very enthralled by my son's love of all the food, especially pickle ginger. The sushi chef saw how much my kid devoured the pickled ginger and gave us two servings before we were even served our food. It wasn't unexpected great moment of my day. And being the mother of a very exuberant toddler, that's a pretty rare thing. Plus, as soon as he started acting up I asked for a box to go and the service was phenomenal and I got out of there without disturbing anybody.

My wife and I went in for the Omakase. It was a delightful meal and a wonderful succession of plates.Service was attentive, and even took not of my wife's aversion to wasabi and asked the chefs to make a slight change to their preparation so she wasn't so put off by the flavor.Totally recommended. We're looking forward to going again just to sit at the bar and sample more of their delicious preparations

When THE Masa of Masa Sushi retires my husband and myself had worried. Often than not, a change like that leads to a decline in service or quality, but that is NOT the case! New ownership has brought a fresh take on the menu, and old specials were revamped with NEW creative interpretations. We love and miss Masa and his family and their unique traditional menu and specials, but somehow the new ownership fills the big shoes they left behind and has brought a fresh take... if you love the old Masa you will be refreshingly impressed with the change, and if you’ve never been, GO! It’s terrific!

Top shelf just enjoying it while it lasts because it's worth a lot more money than this and I'm sure I will reflect that soon!
